Opton 10G-MM-DF85-SR-D is an SFP module equipped with two LC / UPC connectors. It is used for data transmission with a maximum capacity of 10 Gb / s. It uses two multimode fibers, one of the fibers is transmitting the signal (Tx) and the other is receiving (Rx). Transmission takes place on a wavelength of 850 nm (in both channels). The maximum transmission range is about 300 m at 1500/2000 MHz frequency (so using at least OM3 fiber, preferably OM4). Correspondingly, with the OM2 fiber the maximum range is 82 m and with the OM1 only 33 m.
