Worked for and with the sculptor Simon Thomas this summer.Fabricated, metalworked and patinated this sculpture in 6mm thick phosphor bronze.Diameter is one metre.

This week installed this sculpture and framework for a client in London. Very stressful job but client pleased and all went well.

The sculptor Alan Dun asked me to make a cone 2100mmx200mm from a copper water tank, the material being about 2.5mm thick.

Treated myself to a set of long overdue new files. Unfortunately I could not run to a set of Swiss ones,but they will certainly improve on my old collection, now in the second tier.

The sculpture begins to emerge after a week of metalwork and cleaning away of 'flashing' and 'scabbing' that hid some of the detail on the surface.
